The 2025 Laminopathies meeting in Paris (laminopathies.net) brought together a vibrant community of researchers, clinicians, patients, and advocates with a shared goal: advancing understanding and treatment of laminopathies — including LMNA-related cardiac disease.
On behalf of LMNAcardiac.org and all LMNA patients ❤️, we extend a heartfelt thank you to the organizers, speakers, and participants. The energy in the room — from world-class scientific presentations to open patient dialogues — was both inspiring and deeply meaningful.
“It’s rare to find such synergy between patients and scientists. We left Paris more hopeful than ever,” said an LMNA patient advocate.
From novel genetic insights to promising therapeutic strategies, the meeting underscored the importance of collaboration across disciplines and borders. The engagement of the LMNA cardiac community in these discussions marks a critical step toward faster diagnosis, better care, and future treatments.
We’re especially grateful for the genuine inclusion of patient voices in shaping research priorities — a sign that the field is moving in the right direction.
Hopeful for the future. 🙏
