Nuevocor Raises $45M to Advance LMNA Cardiomyopathy Gene Therapy

Nuevocor, a biotechnology company specializing in gene therapies for cardiomyopathies, has successfully closed a $45 million Series B financing round. This funding will advance the clinical development of their innovative, mechanobiology-centered gene therapy targeting cardiomyopathies caused by LMNA mutations. Nuevocor’s approach aims to correct abnormal mechanobiological signaling, offering the potential for disease-modifying treatments where currently only symptom management is available. This milestone brings hope to the LMNA cardiac disease community, moving closer to meaningful treatment options.

New LMNA Mutation Registry of North America Launches to Advance Research and Patient Care

We’re excited to announce the launch of the LMNA Mutation Registry of North America, a vital new initiative designed to accelerate research and improve care for individuals with LMNA-related cardiac and neuromuscular conditions. This physician-led registry will collect genetic and clinical data from patients across the U.S. and Canada to support scientific discovery, enable earlier diagnosis, and pave the way for targeted therapies.
