A dedicated team of walkers from the Netherlands is stepping up to raise awareness for LMNA-related cardiomyopathy during the world-famous Nijmegen Four Days Marches (Vierdaagse). Through the official Vierdaagse Sponsorloop platform, the team “Actie voor genetisch hartfalen (LMNA)” is inviting donations to support research and advocacy for this rare genetic heart condition.
The Nijmegen Four Days Marches is the largest multi-day walking event in the world, attracting over 40,000 participants annually. By walking up to 200 kilometers over four days, the LMNA team not only takes on a physical challenge but also puts the spotlight on the urgent need for improved diagnosis, care, and treatment for patients living with LMNA cardiomyopathy.
All funds raised will go toward initiatives that support the LMNA cardiac community, including research, patient outreach, and advocacy.
Support their mission: You can follow the team’s progress and donate directly via their official fundraising page.
Together, step by step, we move closer to a future with better outcomes for everyone affected by LMNA-related cardiac disease.
