Last week, the LMNA Cardiac Diseases Network hosted a very successful and inspiring in-person patient meeting at the beautiful Stanford University campus in Palo Alto, California.
Over two special days, LMNA patients, families, researchers, clinicians, and industry representatives came together to connect, learn, and share experiences within the LMNA community.
Wednesday provided a wonderful opportunity for patients, families, and experts to meet each other personally, exchange stories, and build meaningful new connections in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It was inspiring to see so many people from different backgrounds and locations united by a shared mission of improving the future for LMNA patients and families.
Thursday featured a full day of highly informative and engaging presentations from leading experts, researchers, clinicians, and biotechnology companies working in the LMNA field. Topics included the latest developments in LMNA research, patient care, genetics, cardiomyopathy management, emerging therapeutic approaches, and ongoing clinical and scientific initiatives.
The combination of scientific insights, open discussions, and personal interactions made the meeting both educational and deeply motivating for everyone involved.
We are incredibly grateful to all speakers, participants, supporters, and collaborators who helped make this meeting such a success. A special thank you as well to Stanford University for hosting us in such an inspiring setting.
Events like these continue to demonstrate the strength, resilience, and global collaboration of the LMNA community, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the future.
